Word For Mac Wont Let Me Center Align Page
Video cutting program for mac. Contents 2 and 3 are at 7.3, and 7.11 respectively, and won't let me change it to 7.5 in the Position field on Tabs for the style. How can I get all the page numbers to align to the right like Heading 1? Align text horizontally inside a text box just as you would align the text in the document by clicking the 'Home' menu and selecting the alignment you want, such as 'Align Left' or 'Center.' To align the text vertically inside a text box, click the 'Align Text' option under the Picture Tools Format menu. Best Answer: I'm still using 2008 but it hasn't changed in the last couple of versions so hopefully will be the same in 2011: Go to File>Page Setup. From Settings select Microsoft Word. Click on the Margins button. Click on the Layout tab and select Centred from Vertical Alignment. This is probably the wrong forum to be asking, but we've just been switched to Word 2010 and it's driving me batty! I have several lines in one document that need different alignment. Most will simply be aligned left, but some need to be aligned Center and some need to be aligned Right. You can avoid the problem also by using.
Word For Mac Won't Let Me Type

I looked through the Forum previous posts on the subject and it doesn't look like this problem was ever solved: I am noticing that Contents 1, which has the right alignment, is set at 7.5. Contents 2 and 3 are at 7.3, and 7.11 respectively, and won't let me change it to 7.5 in the Position field on Tabs for the style. How can I get all the page numbers to align to the right like Heading 1? I am wondering if I have to do something in the Edit Table of Contents selection, rather than modifying the paragraph styles for Contents.??????? Actually, what that does is move the Chapter heading text over to where the page numbers are. So all the text gets pushed to the right.

I unchecked the Format/Set tab position relative to Paragraph Style Indent for levels 2 and 3, and that did not solve the problem either. Because Heading 1 is correct, heading two is indented to 7.3 and H3 is 7.1, that's how far in from the right margin the page number appears. It just won't seem to undo, and it won't let me change the indent from the paragraph style of Contents 2 and 3. It's like I tried both doors, and neither works. Yes, I remember that too, now that you mention it. So I deleted all the old tab stops out, and then followed your instructions to add a new tab stop, and still, nothing changed. Mail merge microsoft 2016 for mac. I just can't figure out if it's an Update TOC problem, or a TOC paragraph style problem (Contents 2, Contents 3, etc.).
